Meet Dr. Rashmi SR
Dr Rashmi is a well-trained consultant nephrologist with diverse experience of working in a renal transplant unit, dialysis unit with all the high end types of dialysis including both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. She also has good experience in renal transplant work up and procedures like renal biopsy and perm cath and HD catheter insertions. Dr Rashmi has also worked as an observer in cases of complicated renal biopsy and difficult vascular access handling, with a passion to be involved in patient care, dealing with challenging cases, with special impetus on patient safety, achieving the clinical results with highest ethical standards.
Have done approximately 1400 biopsies and nearly 250 perm caths. Also managed the dialysis unit with around 150 dialysis per day. Assisted the team of nephrologists in management of renal transplants, OPD and critically ill patients. Have been an active participant in the academic programmes for the DNB post graduates held at the hospital. Attended multiple health camps in nephrology as a representative of Manipal hospitals.
Conducted OPD as a visiting consultant at R L Jalappa hospital, Kolar, HAL hospitals, Bangalore, Karnataka institute of diabetology, Bangalore. Also involved in preparing departmental protocols in transplant, dialysis and general nephrology.
